The WGW Advisory principals have an excellent track record of starting, managing and growing businesses. The team are determined to develop its Investment team into one of the leading Investment Corporations in South Africa.

Warren Wheatley, a Chartered Accountant and Certified Financial Planner is the group’s Chief Executive Officer. Warren also serves as a Non-Executive Director for Arena Holdings and 4 Africa Exchange. Warren started his career as an article clerk with BC Hall and Company and concluded his professional training with Alexander Forbes Financial Services.

Warren’s career progressed for 10 years at Alexander Forbes where he served under various roles within the institutional consulting and actuarial business. Most notably he ran one of the Consulting and Actuarial Branches in the Sandton Head Office covering the Gauteng client base. Prior to that Warren was the Principal Consultant to a number of high profile corporate clients with billions in assets under advisement.

Warren then moved onto ABSA Capital where he worked as an investment banker and Wealth manager to a portfolio of ultra-high net worth families. His duties here included advising on structured finance, various corporate advisory services, investment banking and asset management amongst other client requirements.


Legal Advisor

Robin is an admitted an attorney, practising as an attorney for approximately 10 years. Robin has a bachelor of law from University of Witwatersrand. Robin completed his articles and practiced for a year at Leslie Cohen & Associates. In 2009, he joined Blake Bester Inc and was appointed as a Director in 2011.Robin then commenced practising for his own account in 2015.Robin has experience in commercial litigation, drafting commercial agreements and employment related disputes.

Robin has the following qualifications :
• Advanced Diploma in Corporate Law and Securities (UNISA);
• Certificate in Banking Law and Financial Markets (Wits);
• Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Law (U.J); and
• Certificate in Pension Fund Law (Wits).

His duties here include legal advice,drafting and vetting agreements and instructing attorneys.
